Well hello there one and all! How is everything going? it sounds like you are all doing wonderful! Josh, i am glad to hear you are spending some time to hang out with friends in your busy schedule, Jake i am glad to hear you are working out with dad...i wouldn't want to get home and be able to beat you up too bad...Hannah, school is ending, woot woot, what are you doing the last day of school? Dad, in your pull up contest how many pull ups did everyone do? How is working out? what are you mainly doing or everything? In my morning work outs i am focusing on strengthening my back to try and fix my posture a little. How was the motorcycle races? Mom is sounds like youth conference will be lots of fun. I am excited for ya mom, just so you know, If you are trying to kill a fish, the best way to do so is probably not by changing its water and feeding it...ha ha you silly goose. THANK YOU ALL SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH FOR THE PACKAGE! I loved it. I have been eating donuts like crazy, and the cookies were gone the next day ha ha. I have a funny story about the fruit by the foots. So on Saturday we came in to the office to correlate with one of the assistants and president showed up and asked for help from all of us about zone conference and i had two fruit by the foots that i was going to give to the assistants (because i opened the package and saw them eyeballing them) so i pulled them out and offered them to them and said to president "if you want one i will bring you one for sure" and then he just went on giving me a bunch of sass and stuff it was really funny, then as we stood up to leave He looked at me and said "OK elder Nelson doctors orders you go and eat ten candy bars right now!" ha ha apparently i am too skinny or something...but anyway the point of all this was to say thank you so much for the package, goodies and prescriptions. you are incredible.
So this week has been a really awesome one. We have seen a great deal of miracles. I feel bad, like i am hogging them all or something. ha ha. Last Monday when we were shopping a young man came over to me and started talking to me, saying "what ward are you in?" so i said "the u of o singles ward" and he said oh nice, then we spoke for a little bit and i said are you a member? and he said "no" so i said oh, really? and then he asked if i knew an Elder Jestes and i said i sure do! then i said wait do you know an Elder Trowbridge? and he said yes i do! It was pretty cool. so we got his phone number and we are going to meet with him this week. his name is J. I have lots of pictures that i need to send home ha ha i just need to find a time to do so. the ones of Prefontaine, and this week we met with one of the guys that plays football for the Ducks. His name is Ricky Heimuli, he is a member, and i guess there is an article that was written about him. I got a picture with him...ha ha i look really huge next to him...NOT. But i want to send that picture to Jordan and Sam and soren and Matt, i thought it was kinda cool. He is a super nice guy, really humble and super awesome. Two other miracles that i want to share with you are these. On Wednesday Elder Sorenson and i had like a half an hour when we were kinda at a stand still so we said a prayer and I felt like we should text a potential investigator, so she texted back and said "i am going through a bit of a trial right now, but i will text you a little later because i really want to be baptized in your church" i thought to myself..."well we can help with that ha ha" it was really awesome, we met with her on Saturday night and she is as some might say "GOLDEN" she is really a miracle and we are excited to work with her. Her name is Marianne. And then yesterday we had like twenty minutes in between church and an appointment so we decided to go knock on doors, and as we turned a corner on a street i saw this two ladies who i didn't really want to talk to (bad habit) so i forced my self to go over to them, and it turns out that right as we were going up to them they were talking about baptism, specifically in the LDS church! How crazy is that???? I guess one of the ladies was blessed when she was a child and had never gotten baptized and they were just talking about it, so we sat down with them and answered questions and then we set up a return appointment. I thought it was so cool.

So this past week Elder sorenson and i taught at interviews, we taught about finding, follow up and companionship unity. During it for companionship unity he and i made a video with all of our pictures on it and the song from fox and the hound, "your the best of friends" it is pretty funny, i will have to get a copy of it to send it to you. but anyway during my interviews, as usual me and president talked about jake and his mission haha. And how he went through a transition of mission presidents. If you all have any advice i would love to hear it on this situation, it is getting pretty sad and weird with the fact that knowing President Macdonald is leaving. it is weird, i knew this would come, but i never thought it would. It s crazy. then when i was talking to sister macdonald, like always she seems to give me marriage advice haha. and parenting advice, but then we talked about them leaving and the mission and she said something that made my day. I dont mean to ssay this to brag either but she said "your going to be one of the missionaries that keeps this mission going," it made me so happy.
well looking back at this email i apologize, it is very very random and really crummy handwriting and spelling. wow...my bad. But i dont want to say too much because i am going to write you all a letter today. I know this email is not as good as the past couple have been...sorry. I hope you can forgive me. this email yo umay not want to put on the blog josh haha. or atleast revise it. BUt i want you all to know that i love you all dearly and am so so grateful for the love and support that you give to me. have a wonderful week and know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will keep uncle guys family in my prayers as well. Tell Jared and Cheryl and G and G Johnson hello.
