Hey guys. Well it sounds like this past week has been one full of excitement and adventure for everyone both here and in Utah. =)
I cant believe brady comes home this next month! holy moly, haha It sounds like you are gonna go ti his homecoming talk? Let me know how it is, and tell him i say whats up. After this week there are a lot of things to be grateful for, and i really dont know where to start to tell you about it all....haha. So i guess i will just jump right into it. We have two people on date for baptism for the next two weeks. This weekend an investigator who just fell from the sky is getting baptized. I am a firm believer in putting your trust in the lord and letting him take care of what needs to be done As long as we just set to work and like Elder Bednar says "just want to be a good boy doing what i know is right" a companionship called us and said they had an investigator named nathan that was singles ward age and wanted to pass him off to us, so we said sure. haha. He has seen some major miracles these past few weeks, his mom is taking the missionary discussions with another set of elders in the zone and she has some medical issues, well they gave her a blessing and she has been recovering and doing much better. Well Nathan witnessed all this and has decided that there is no other explanation except that the church is true. so he has quit smoking cold turkey and come to every activity we've had and loves reading the book of mormon, and he even carries the pamphlets around with him wherever he goes. So his baptism is going to be this sunday at 4:30. We are super excited. Liz has also taken some major leaps of faith and has been progressing like crazy. She came to church this past sunday and said now has a baptismal date for april 28th. We had an awesome lesson with her where we just kind of reemphasized all of the miracles that she has seen and she said "Yeah i was thinking of being baptized sometime the end of this month" Haha, how cool is that, so we taught her again yesterday and said she is now living the word of wisdom, she later told us that she had one more cigarette and then threw the rest of them in the toilet and flushed them. It is such a miracle to see the change that happend from last week to this week. LIke wow!!!!!
Other exciting things happening this week, tomorrow we have specialized training just outside of corvallis and guess who is going to be there?......

Elder Brinkerhoff from the first quorum of the seventy. so that is kinda fun and i am really excited for it. It is just lots of fun to be around president as well. haha. I love him so much. he is great. I wanted to again share a little miracle that has happened with prayer this week. I find it very comforting and reassuring to know that in any situation i can turn to my Father in Heaven and he will listen to me. One night this week i was working on being patient and needed my heart to be humbled and softened (haha i need this alot) so i went in and said a prayer and immediately i felt so calm and the little things that had been bothering me no longer mattered. It helps to have an eternal perspective on things huh?
Well my time is running short so I want to let you all know that i love you so so much. I really am so thankful for all that you do for me. I am looking forward to these next few weeks as jake and mikella prepare for a big event or somethinglike that? and josh prepares to go on a big long adventure. Hannah, goes to a dance, and mom and dad continue to do the great things they do for their callings and for us kids. You guys all rock. And gemma i hope you get over your little sickness too. (I came up with a good nickname for gemma, Gembacca Like chewbacca from start wars haha. ) just kidding hannah. I hope you all have a great week and that you are safe in all that you do. Know my thoughts and prayers are with you.
