     Oh my word, what an interesting week it sounds like you guys have had. Sounds like the winds have been super strong and brought a lot of damage and loss to people. But on a brighter note, recently josh sent me some study material on wind and one thing that i picked up is that the winds of trial and adversity that we face always lead us to greater blessings. Like the book of Ether, and how the winds that carried them on the sea must have been hard and i'm sure at times very frightening, but in the end, it brought them to a great land, and in the case of you and the members now a days, Just reading your email i can tell that it has brought the ward closer together, and people developed a love that would not have happened any other way. But i am super glad to hear that you are all doing well, and that no one was hurt. What a major blessing to hear about. The other night someone told me a little about how centerville was in a state of emergency, and from the sounds of it all, it must have been pretty scary. I'm glad you are ok though. Other than that how are things going?  Remember a few years ago when the lieshmans trampoline blew away and we were all chasing it? good times. haha. Oh my goodness i totally forgot Jameson was coming home! How is He? How does he look? you guys will all have to tell him i say hi, and tell him "lets soak em for crutchy"

     So this week has been crazy busy, and full of miracles. Elder collins is here he is awesome. You guys would like him. Just a few things about him. When he was like 15 he worked for radio disney, he was in a group that danced and sang called "exit 9" or something like that, he has an amazing voice, he loves sports, and like i said before he plays ultimate frisbee. As a missionary he is a stud. He has had really quiet companions before and so he is super excited to just do work here and not have to worry about not having fun or a shy companion. He is awesome. You guys will like him. I saw him enter the mission field. I was his first zone leader haha, and now he is a zone leader with me. so all in all he is great. We get along and are having a blast and a half.

      This week, we travelled up to eugene, for zone leader council, it was a lot of fun and as always questions were answered. I love it. I learn so much every day.

    I am not sure if i told you guys about desmond, but that is where the highlight of my week comes in. So a few weeks ago elder clark and i were planning and we felt prompted to go to a specific street to plan, the next day when we got to the street it said things liek "private road" "no soliciting" and all sorts of stuff that threw up red flags, then elder clark and i looked at each other and walked in, haha, as we were talking ot people we met a guy named Desmond, and invited him to basketball the next night, he came so we invited him to church the next day...he came. so we invited him to family home evening the next day...he came! so we asked him if he wanted to sit down and meet with us the next day...he did, and we had been teaching him ever since then. well thursday night we met with him and invited him to be baptized and he said he would he just needed to find out if the book of mormon and church were true (always a good thing to know) so we talked about faith and how we can know if things are true. Then last night as we sat in the stake center watching the Christmas devotional (we had invited desmond but he didnt come, not sure why) so as we were thinking about desmond we got a text message from him that said "i know the church is true, i will explain tomorrow at fhe" elder collins and i looked at each other and leaped out of our seats!!! then we realized we were in the chapel and people were watching the christmas devotional so we just pounded fists a couple times haha, so anyway we are stoked because tonight he is going to explain it to us, and i cannot wait. =) Miracles happen all the time, i love it so so so so so much. I really feel so blessed for everything that i have been given and seen.

    That is about all the exciting stuff for this week, Not too much else to report. I am so glad to hear that you are all safe and well, I hope that winds last night didnt cause too much damage and that you are all ok, you are in my prayers and i hope you know how grateful and how much i love you. be safe, and know i love you.
