how in the heck are ya all doing??? how was everyones week???? did you have a great thanksgiving? did you eat lots of turkey for me? One of my favorite things to talk about with happiness is in alma 27:18. And the true happiness that is recieved from finding his friends still part of the gospel and "penitent" i think that is a key word. =)
Things here in grants pass are great. Life is fun, and this week has been one full of adventure. Thanksgiving was really good, really laid back and low key. We played turkey bowl, then elder clark wasn't feeling so well so we went home and he took a three hour nap, so it gave me a chance to catch up on some letters and just kind of relax. =) then we all went to dinner, and president young allowed us to watch a movie called 17 Miracles. Have you seen it?? Oh my goodness, if you havent i would definitely say please get it and watch it for family home evening or something. It is such an incredible movie. You will lvoe it. It is about the Willie and Martin handcart company. =)
Other news from this week. We spent this week doing a lot of finding and it really payed off. President issues a challenge to go out and find families to share the gospel with. so the very first door we knocked on this week, is a family of at least three, and we are gonna start teaching them! how cool is that. The rest of the week was nothing but miracles like that. We were walking down the street and a guy pulled his car over and shouted to us and said "i would love for you to come over and share a message with my family" Elder clark and i looked at each other and were like "ok!!" haha, then two people after that that we talked to the lady said "i have heard from lots of people that whenever you guys show up, it is the right message at the right time, just what people need to hear" so i will definitely say this week has been an amazing week, and i am super grateful for it. There is so much to be thankful for in life, I love it. =)
This week we had transfer calls, ( i cant believe they are happening already) And we found out that elder clark is getting transferred, looks like my trend of six week companions remains...haha, he has been here for six months, I am actually really excited, my new companion is Elder Collins, he is a champ!!!! I am super stoked to get him, We will get alonng super well, and see so many miracles. President even said "i might ask to get released as a mission presidnet to come be a zone leader in grants pass" haha, so i am pretty pumped, also it will be good, Elder clark knew the whole ward and they all loved him, it was a little harder for me to build any relationships, but now elder colins and i wil be able to have a blast and a half together, actually this is something kinda cool you will like about him, he is a professional ultimate frisbee player! he played for USA, and at the u of u! cool huh? and besides that he is just a champion missionary, i was there in eugene when he came in to the mission and remember thinking how much fun it would be to serve with him, if you cant tell i am super stoked to serve with him. =)
Wel, i guess i really dont have too much else to report, this week flew by! So many miracles were seen, i have definitely been blessed. I am so grateful for that. =) Sorry this email is kinda lame and short, i
