Hello Hello Hello, how are you all doing? it sounds like you have
had a really great week and that valentines day and presidents day
both were fantastic for you.
Well thank you guys so so much for the package, it was great, i
laughed pretty hard at the toothbrush. You guys are so funny. Thank
you very much. =), i guess the big news for the week is that i am no
longer in Grants Pass. I have been transferred up to salem, the
capital of oregon. and basically the very tip of my mission
boundaries, kinda weird after being in the 3 most southern zones in
the mission. (the p days are on tuesday up here hence email came today
instead of yesterday) The zone up here is really big, like..really
big. haha, it is about the same size as the zone in eugene, and they
decided to keep me as a zone leader for a little while longer, My
companion is elder Nygren from Farmington New mexico haha he is a
champ, he has been in the area for about six months. So far (i have
only been here a few hours) i love it here, the ward has a history of
baptizing a lot, and everyone that i spoke to loved the area. SO i am
really excited for the adventures to come. =)
I was extremely sad to leave Grants pass, it feels kinda like I
left my home to go on a mission when i got the transfer call. THe
members there were incredible, and it was really hard to say goodbye
to the familys and converts that were there, especially desmond, we
had a really good lesson with him though and he has such a strong
testimony, I sure am gonna miss them. But hey, with the change comes a
chance to learn and progress right?
on that note, during stake conference this weekend President young
did a youth fireside on the book of mormon and i heard a quote from
elder eyring, I cant remember how it all went but i remember at the
end of it he said "drink deeply and often from its pages" it hit me
pretty hard, It made me so grateful that we have the chance and the
blessing to be able to read from the scriptures every single day,
especially the book of mormon. I love the way it makes me feel and the
thoughts and inspiration it gives to me.
also i wanted to say thank you for all of the prayers and support
that you give to me, i dont say it enough but i really do feel and
appreciate the love and prayers that you say for me. MY FAMILY IS THE
BEST!!!!
On a side note, i got to see elder mckay neilsen for about 2
minutes during transfers yesterday haha, he says hi, he is doing
really well, and it was kinda fun to get to see him. Other than that
not too much to report, life is going great here and i am sure i will
have more to update you on soon, i just dont know too much about hte
area right now.
But i love you all so so much. Thanks for all that you do.
