Well Well well, Hello there Nelsons! How in the world are you all? 

   Well this week, has gone by way too quickly...let me start by saying again...I LOVE GRANTS PASS. It is so incredible here. Dad, and Josh asked some questions so i will answer those first. Grants pass is amazing, it reminds me of the town that Hocus pocus (do you remember that movie?) takes place in. I dont know why. maybe cuz it is halloween. haha. I love it though. Elder Clark is awesome. We get along so well, and we teach really well together. He is great. He has been out for one transfer less than I. And he is a rockstar. we have so much fun. The area is really awesome, you asked if i need a bike? I am not sure...it is a half bike area, but i think i am going to borrow a bike from a member? So i guess i dont really know what to tell you about that haha. We cover two wards, a family ward, and a singles branch. THe ward is the cream of the crop. SO incredible. I love it!!!! and the singles branch...it is a lot smaller than the one i was last in haha, there are like 15 members active. The members are amazing though. I feel so at home here, they rock. Really they rock! Grants Pass, it about 45 minutes north of Medford, so i am pretty close to my first two areas, Whats you go southern oregon you never go back haha. The weather is incredible. It is not rainy just perfect. Kinda funny though, i was way excited to be in oregon cuz of all the rain, and i started in klamath where is was super hot and then snowed, then medford in the spring, little rain, eugene in the summer, little rain, and now hopefully it will rain here, that is what we have been hearing =) There are 10 missionaries in grants pass, lots smaller than eugene haha, and we live in a tiny little cottage behind a non members home, in the mision it is known as the honeymoon sweet haha. It is like bright yellow and looks like hobbits would live there. It is awesome. I lvoe it.  You also asked if we have walked in to any solid investigators...well let me tell you!!

    Last night Elder Clark and i had the opportunity to teach an investigator in a members home, her name is Nichole. SHe came to the halloween party with the members on friday then sunday we went to the members home and taught her. She is AMAZING! We taught her the first lesson, and when we taught the first vision she told us about an experience a few years ago where she felt Heavenly Father in her life, and she said she felt the same way when we talked about Joseph Smith. She has been prepared so well. She went through a divorce, that brought her to grants pass, and to work and a doctors office for two members of the church, and over the weekend she told us she just felt good all weekend. Oh and she got a fortune cookie that said "you will experience a change in religion direction in you life" (something like that) and she was like "oh thats weird, i am meeting with the missionaries sunday?!" haha, She rocks. Well, she will be getting baptized on November 19th. When we were teaching her she was thinking about baptism, and was wondering how it worked so when we asked her to be baptized she said, "Yep!!!" "I was wondering how it works" She is awesome. Has two little boys. We have another young man who is preparing to be baptized on november 5th, his name is daniel. he is 16 and is way funny. He loves airsofting. We have a lot of fun teaching him. On saturday we had a baptism. Haha, (as you can see this area is just amazing) an older couple got baptized. 86 and 82, robert and sally. I got to confirm bob. That was pretty cool. Also our ward just had an open house, where we invited the whole communtiy to come in and feel the spririt of the buillding it was awesome. Man this area i just cant say enough about it.!!!

     One final little tid bit, there are two less actives that we are working with that are helping quit smoking and so to help them quit we told them we would go off of desserts and candy and sweets for a month (til the 29 th of november)...well lets just say that started on saturday and we got home that night and i had a package sitting on the doorstep for me.. haha,(best time to quick candy huh?) so no worries, i am saving everygthing for that day so i can eat it all super fast and get like 50 cavities haha. BUt please tell Andrea Hall thank you so so much for the caramels, i cant wait to eat them!

     other than that not too much to report. You guys are amazing you rock my socks. Thank you so so mush for all that you do. KNow that you are in my thoguths and prayers. Have a great week, i love you.
