Hey guys! How is everyone doing? How was your week? sounds like you all had lots of fun at the cabin and partying and being awesome as usual. haha. So yesterday we were talking to a member about byu and utah, and i told him i was a utah fan and he said "thats ok there is still room for repentance" so i quickly said "yeah you'll be there someday..." haha it was great, his whole family was cracking up. Good times, and i am so glad boise state is doing good, and ranked number 5!!!!!! YES!
Well this week has been nothing short of incredible. I will start from the top. Transfers are nuts this transfer...all the way up to the conference call where the zone leaders find out who in their zone is getting transferred it has been nuts. The call was postponed for like 45 minutes because president was inspired to do something different. Haha, but i get to stay here in Eugene for at least six more weeks, and will still be with Elder Hackett. It is crazy because our zone went from having 30 missionaries to having 37...haha. We now have five districts instead of three, and it is going to be pretty crazy. and we may be moving to a different apartment. President doesn't like us living around all the parties and things...so we may be moving in to a new apartment with two elders. also we no longer have the truck! we are now driving a Chevy Malibu. haha, it is pretty cool, it can be switched to manual transmission and so that is how we have been driving. bahaha. oh also do you remember how last week i got in a little bit of a bike crash...we that was the last memory i will have with that bike...it got stolen...haha. So yeah...as of right now i am bike-less. Luckily i don't need one at the moment. Also this week we had zone leader council and it was amazing like always. So great to be part of this great work. I love it.
Ok, other exciting news, on Thursday we sat down to meet with Kris again, and right after we said the prayer he said "ya know i have been thinking a lot about baptism and whether or not i should do it...and i keep getting this gust of wind in my chest telling me i should" haha we were totally shocked! I knew he would get baptized but i thought for sure it would be after i left., so this Saturday he is going to be baptized, and we are so happy and excited for him. He is way excited himself, two days ago we all went to the prudhel family baptism (the family elder knight and i started working with before we left that area) and Kris had a grin from ear to ear and he keeps joking and talking about it, all the time. he is so excited. what a stud! Yesterday he asked me if i would be the one to baptize him. =) I am so grateful for the blessing and privilege i have to do this work and have the help of the Lord every step of the way. i have been thinking about a quote a lot lately "anything is possible with two people, as long as one of them is the Lord" So i will keep you updated on him and how the baptism goes. Please keep him in your prayers this week as the trials and temptations from the adversary are going to be super strong this week. Thanks.
