This week...Halloween

      Well, Friday, we went to medford for zone conference, and had Elder Kikuchi (the member of the first quorum of the seventy who has been in the longest) come and speak to us, he was amazing, a wonderful man. He spoke about joseph smith and gave us advice, he said that because we dont really pay tithing on the mission we need to pay 100% tithing of obedience, it was really good. He definitely knows how to bring the spirit into a meeting. It was amazing. i wish i could describe even the smallest part of it.
       After we got back from medford we had a ward halloween party, where we had a new investigator show up!! we are meeting with her today. She came to the party, then a baptism, then church and we have only spoken to her once! incredible. Sister Erickson was there as well, she always gives me sass about being perfect because one day we went over there and she asked if we wanted the temperature turned up or down so i said i was perfect, and ever since then she has given me sass, but at the party she came up to me and said, I owe you an apology so i asked why and she said, i was reading in 3 Nephi 12:48 "...Ye should be perfect even as I, or your Father who is in heaven is perfect." it was kinda funny, I thought it was incredible she is already in 3 NEPHI!!!!!!
       We had two baptisms this weekend, first was pamelas' hers was wonderful and super powerful, her 6 year old daughter is already asking when she can be baptized. Pamela is amazing, she is going to be a great example for her husband and the rest of her family to follow. the spirit is so strong with her and she is doing great! WE also baptized will gibson, he is an excellent young man, I am working on getting him to want to serve a mission even though he still has a while, i think he would be an excellent missionary (and it is our responsibility to get him to want to serve.) He also will be an awesome influence on his parents who have his support but I think after they see his example they will come to the truth as well.
        Saturday we had the opportunity to go do some service at OIT, setting up for a haunted house, and we then went back that night and passed out candy to trick or treaters. it was really fun , we were dressed in proselyting and everyone asked us questions and we had two really good conversations with people. We'll see what comes of it. =)
        Other than that i am not really sure what to report on...we have one young man set for date., Marcus, and hoping for another one, transfers are on the 16th, and we think Elder Sorenson is leaving, not sure though. The weather is ok, right now, haha it has been pretty cold and rainy. =) I love this church, and this gospel, I know it is true, That is why i am here serving others, to bring them to their loving Father in heaven and Savior Jesus Christ. I just hope i can be the most effective and best missionary i can be so they can have the same blessings we do.
