So i had some pretty funny stories for this email it was kinda hard to choose what to share so, hopefully you think these are funny if not then thats too bad haha. jk. so Steven who is getting baptized on saturday lives with a less active family we have been working with forever, they have three children and i have convinced them all that when i am not doing missionary work that i am spiderman haha. so when i gave one of them some candy this past week he ran into the kitchen and said "mom spiderman gave me candy!!!" it was the funniest thing ever.
Well as I have been studying this week i have found some cool scriptures, i will share this one with your because i love it. Alma 44:3 "...behold that the Lord is with us...because of our religion and our faith in Christ. And now ye see that ye cannot destroy this our faith." i love that!!!!!!! on my Missionary Daily planner i have the pillsbury doughboy and a quote i made up that says "the gospel is liek a pillsbury cookie...when you feast on it you get warm and tingly." haha yeah i'm a little weird but that is ok. inside it says "the doughboy says...'the gospel is doughp'" haha get it??? ok sorry i'll stop with the lame jokes. my bad.
Well, i just want to wish you all a very merry thanksgiving, i hope you all have fun and drive safe as you go on your adventures. Eat some turkey and pie for me, and make sure to tell one another the things you are grateful for. I want you to know that i am so so so grateful for you all, you are the light of my life, and i love you all dearly, i cannot imagine a better life than the one i have. thank you for raising me in the gospel and showing me what true joy is, out here i have seen how much the gospel does bring happiness and joy, and can bring families closer together. In the words of President Monson "We need not wait for Christmas, we need not postpone til Thanksgiving Day our response to the Saviors tender admonition: 'Go and do thou likewise'"
